Santa Fe Springs, CA (December 28, 2024) – A fatal traffic collision occurred early Saturday morning on SR-60 E near S Hacienda Blvd. The incident, reported at approximately 12:24 AM, involved a white Honda Accord and resulted in the tragic loss of life.
Emergency responders, including Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACOFD), confirmed the fatality at the scene shortly after arrival. Fire crews and medics assessed the situation and determined no additional injuries required immediate medical attention. Law enforcement officials kept traffic flowing, with no lane blockages or closures required during the response.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office was notified and is handling the decedent’s removal and investigation. Tow services from Pepe’s Tow were dispatched to recover the vehicle involved. At this time, the cause of the collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
