Zelienople, PA (February 21, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident with injuries was reported at the intersection of W New Castle St and Marion Dr, near Routes 588 and 288, on Thursday morning.
Emergency responders from Stations 22 and 62 were dispatched at 11:57 a.m. Upon arrival at 11:59 a.m., C-22-3 confirmed that one vehicle remained on the road while the other had gone off the roadway. All occupants had exited their cars, but at least one individual reported injuries.
By 12:01 p.m., command advised EMS personnel that a female patient in her 70s was experiencing chest pain and required medical evaluation. Another individual was reported to have a nosebleed but did not appear to have sustained more serious injuries. Additional responding units, including 62-2 and RQ-22, arrived at 12:09 p.m., followed by EN-22 at 12:12 p.m., which took over traffic control at the scene.
By 12:37 p.m., all emergency crews had cleared the scene, and the incident was officially terminated. Authorities have not yet disclosed further details regarding the cause of the crash, and an investigation remains ongoing.
