York, PA (October 24, 2024) – A significant traffic incident occurred this morning on Interstate 83 in York County, leading to severe delays for motorists. At approximately 6:40 a.m., emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision in the northbound lanes between Exit 28, Zions View/Strinestown, and Exit 32, Newberrytown, located in Newberry Township.
The crash resulted in the blockage of the left lane and the right shoulder of Interstate 83 Northbound, causing traffic to back up for several miles. Fortunately, the scene has since been cleared, and all lanes have reopened for traffic.
