Car Accidents in Massachusetts
Massachusetts highways, including Route 6, experience frequent traffic collisions due to high-speed travel, congestion, and unpredictable driving conditions. Crashes in wooded areas along major roadways can be particularly hazardous, as vehicles that veer off the road may collide with trees, embankments, or other obstacles, increasing the likelihood of severe injuries.
Many highway accidents occur due to driver distraction, excessive speed, fatigued driving, or failure to adjust to road and weather conditions. When vehicles leave the roadway, injuries can range from minor to life-threatening, often requiring emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, and long-term recovery care.
Victims of car accidents may be entitled to seek compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages if another driver’s negligence contributed to the crash. Establishing fault in highway accidents often requires a thorough investigation, including reviewing accident reports, road conditions, and vehicle positioning at the time of the crash.
