The crash occurred in the 1800 block of Fruitvale Boulevard at approximately 5:50 p.m., according to Yakima Police Department Sergeant Mark Williams.

Authorities report that the woman failed to yield to an oncoming car when crossing the roadway, resulting in the collision.
