Highway Accidents in Missouri
Passing maneuvers, particularly on high-speed highways like US 60, can be dangerous when drivers misjudge road conditions or lose control while re-entering the roadway. Crashes involving semi-trucks can be especially severe due to the size and weight differences between commercial trucks and passenger vehicles.
Victims of highway crashes may face medical expenses, lost wages, and vehicle repair costs. Under Missouri law, individuals injured in accidents caused by another driver’s negligence may have legal options to seek compensation for damages.
To reduce highway accident risks, drivers should always ensure they have enough space to pass safely, avoid sudden steering corrections when returning to the roadway, and remain cautious around larger commercial vehicles.
