Woodsboro, MD (March 3, 2025) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a farm tractor Monday evening in the 10400 block of Woodsboro Road (Route 194).
According to Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services (FCDFRS), the incident was first reported at approximately 5:15 p.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and requested a medical evacuation due to the severity of the injuries.
A Maryland State Police (MSP) Trooper 3 helicopter was dispatched to airlift the injured adult male to a trauma center for emergency treatment. Officials have not yet released details on the victim’s condition.
The crash also involved two vehicles, and Route 194 (Woodsboro Pike) was closed for an extended period as authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the scene. MSP remains on-site to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
