Wood County, WV (January 2, 2025) – A head-on collision involving two vehicles occurred Wednesday evening on the 9000 block of Staunton Turnpike. The accident resulted in significant damage to both vehicles and required emergency response from multiple agencies.
A maroon Ram truck and a silver Honda collided, leaving both vehicles heavily damaged. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center for treatment. Their conditions have not been disclosed at this time.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office, East Wood Volunteer Fire Department, and Camden Clark Ambulance Service responded promptly to the scene. Crews worked diligently to secure the area and provide aid to those involved. M&J Towing and Rocky’s Towing Services assisted in clearing the roadway to restore traffic flow.
