Left-Turn Accidents in Maine
Left-turn collisions, such as the one on Route 202, are a frequent cause of severe crashes. These incidents often occur when a driver misjudges the speed or distance of oncoming traffic or fails to yield properly. Contributing factors may include road conditions, visibility, or driver distractions.
Maine law requires drivers making left turns to yield to oncoming traffic to prevent such tragic outcomes. Authorities also encourage all motorists to remain vigilant, particularly at intersections and during low-visibility conditions.
If you or a loved one is involved in a motor vehicle accident, seeking immediate medical attention and legal consultation is essential to safeguard your rights. Maine law supports accident victims and their families in pursuing compensation for damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, and other losses caused by negligence.
