The accident occurred at approximately 8:18 p.m. at the intersection of Banton Rd and Van Gaale Ln. According to CHP reports, one of the vehicles involved failed to stop at a posted stop sign and collided with a white Toyota, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles. Emergency responders from Winchester Fire and Rescue rushed to the scene to provide assistance.
Tragically, at least one person was pronounced dead following the collision. The names of the victims have not been released, pending notification of family members.
