Williston, FL (October 14, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred Sunday morning when a 22-year-old man from Williston lost his life while operating an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) in Levy County. According to officials with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the incident took place as the driver was traveling east on Northeast 10th Street, near the Williston Municipal Airport.
Reports indicate that the driver failed to make a left turn, resulting in the ATV crashing into a tree. Unfortunately, authorities pronounced him dead at the scene of the accident.
