Wicksburg, AL (November 10, 2024) – Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle accident involving an overturned vehicle with entrapment on Saturday evening at the intersection of Highway 84 West and Highway 123. The crash was reported to Houston County 911 at approximately 6:41 p.m.
According to reports, an older woman was trapped in the overturned vehicle and unable to extricate herself. Wicksburg Fire-Rescue units arrived at the scene within five minutes of the call. By 6:54 p.m., Wicksburg Fire-Rescue Chief Broc Collins confirmed that the patient had been successfully extricated from the wreck.
