Wichita, KS – Critical Injuries in Truck-Car Collision at Kellogg & Crowne Dr

Wichita, KS (September 2, 2024) – A severe crash occurred when a truck rear-ended a car stopped at a red light at Kellogg and Crowne Dr on Sunday, September 1. A passing nurse performed CPR on the car driver until EMS arrived. 

The driver, in critical condition, and a passenger with non-life-threatening injuries were transported to the hospital. The truck driver did not sustain any injuries. Sedgwick County officials reported the crash around 11:30 a.m. at 19930 W US-54.

Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the collision.
