White House, TN (February 4, 2025) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) has released new details regarding a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on Interstate 65 in Robertson County on Monday night.
According to THP, 49-year-old Wishanda Shurn was involved in an initial crash on I-65 before attempting to cross the interstate. As she was crossing, she was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Colorado pickup.
Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and found Shurn suffering from critical injuries. Despite their efforts, they were unable to stabilize her, and she tragically died at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that the 56-year-old driver of the Chevrolet pickup stopped on the left shoulder following the collision. THP officials stated that the driver is not facing any charges in connection with the accident.
