Wethersfield, NY (September 25, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred in Wyoming County on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the death of an 80-year-old man. The incident took place in the Town of Wethersfield, where Dr. Richard Milazzo Jr. of Chautauqua County was involved in a collision between his car and a tow truck.
According to Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies, the crash happened when Milazzo was driving on Wethersfield Road and approached an intersection. His vehicle collided with a tow truck that was traveling on Hermitage Road. The impact struck the driver’s side door of Milazzo’s car, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but unfortunately, Dr. Milazzo was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges have been filed in connection with the accident at this time.
