Both drivers, Kunkel and Gonzalez, along with a passenger in the Dodge Ram, Jose Gabriel Mendoza Naba, a 32-year-old male from Mathis, TX, all suffered minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. The use of seatbelts by the drivers and passenger is currently under investigation.
