Washington, MO – Collision on US 50 at HWY AJ Results in Serious Injuries

Washington, MO (September 1, 2024) – A collision at the intersection of US 50 and HWY AJ early Saturday, August 31, resulted in serious injuries. At 12:18 AM, a Dodge Dakota, driven by Ashton A. Taylor, 23, of Washington, MO, collided with a Harley Davidson FLHX. Taylor, who was attempting a left turn, failed to yield and struck the motorcycle operated by Jarrod R. Donnelly, 45, of Rosebud, MO.

Both vehicles suffered extensive damage. Taylor sustained moderate injuries and Donnelly’s passenger, Stacey M. Donnelly, 45, received serious injuries. Neither vehicle occupant was using safety devices.

Both injured parties were transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
