Warsaw Township, MN (November 8, 2024) – A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of northbound Highway 56 and westbound County 9 Boulevard in Warsaw Township on Thursday afternoon. The crash was reported at approximately 2:30 PM and involved a 2019 Toyota RAV4 and a 2024 Mack Granite truck.
Emergency responders, including the Goodhue Sheriff’s Office and Northfield Ambulance, arrived on the scene to provide assistance.
According to reports, the Toyota was traveling westbound on County 9 Boulevard, while the Mack truck was heading northbound on Highway 56 when the vehicles collided. The road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the incident.
The driver of the Toyota, 81-year-old Sandra Evelyn Titus of Northfield, MN, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt, and no alcohol was involved. The driver of the Mack truck, 53-year-old Dahir Nor Ibrahim of Minneapolis, MN, was uninjured. He was also wearing a seat belt, and no alcohol was involved.
