Warren, MO (October 14, 2024) – A serious traffic accident occurred on North Outer Road east of Route J at approximately 1:30 p.m. on October 12. The incident involved two vehicles and resulted in significant injuries, prompting a response from local emergency services.
According to the investigation conducted by CPL C. Bishop, the crash involved a 2014 Ford Escape and a 2007 Ford F150. Preliminary reports indicate that the Ford F150 crossed the centerline and struck the front of the Ford Escape. The impact was severe enough to total both vehicles, leading to serious injuries for both drivers.
The driver of the Ford Escape, a 17-year-old female from Warrenton, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Cardinal Glennon Hospital by ARCH helicopter for medical treatment. The driver of the Ford F150, 37-year-old Richard B. Soehngen from St. Peters, also suffered serious injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis by Warren County Ambulance.
Emergency responders worked diligently at the scene to assist the injured and manage traffic, which was significantly impacted due to the crash. The area was temporarily closed as authorities conducted their investigation.
