Warren County, MO (October 27, 2024) – A motorcycle accident occurred on Saturday afternoon at approximately 12:50 PM on the I-70 South Outer Road, east of Market Street. The incident prompted a response from local emergency services, including the Warren County EMS.
Preliminary reports indicate that the accident involved two motorcycles. A 1999 Harley Davidson, driven by 22-year-old Shane C. Gregory from Warrenton, MO, was traveling eastbound on the outer road. At the same time, a 2005 Harley Davidson, operated by 64-year-old Melinda A. Thompson from St. Peters, MO, was making a U-turn when the two vehicles collided.
The impact resulted in moderate damage to both motorcycles. Shane Gregory was able to drive his motorcycle from the scene, while Melinda Thompson’s motorcycle overturned during the collision. Thompson sustained serious injuries and was transported by Warren County EMS to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis for further evaluation and treatment.
