Walton, NY (November 13, 2024) – A tragic crash on State Highway 10 in the Town of Walton claimed the lives of two individuals and left another severely injured on Monday, November 11. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the victims as Lawrence E. Foster, 48, and Kaelyn M. Foster, 24, both residents of Walton.
Deputies responded to reports of a serious collision involving multiple vehicles and significant injuries. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals trapped in their vehicles and a third person ejected from one of the vehicles. Tragically, Lawrence and Kaelyn Foster were pronounced dead at the scene.
The third individual, a 44-year-old from Downsville, NY, sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to Albany Medical Center by LifeNet for urgent treatment. Their current condition has not been disclosed.
