The accident occurred just after 2 p.m. when a Polaris ATV was off-roading in a circular open field along 184 N Eden Park Dr. The field contained scattered large piles of concrete debris, which played a role in the crash.

The next of kin has been notified, and officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the victim during this heartbreaking time.
ATV Accidents in Florida
ATV accidents can be especially dangerous due to the lack of protective enclosures, making riders vulnerable to ejections and rollovers. In off-road environments, hazards such as uneven terrain, debris, and excessive speed can contribute to severe or fatal crashes.
Florida has regulations regarding ATV use, including restrictions on public roadways and helmet requirements for riders under 16. However, even with precautions, accidents can still occur, especially in areas with unstable terrain.
For families who have lost a loved one in an ATV crash, Florida law allows them to seek compensation through wrongful death claims in cases where negligence or hazardous conditions played a role. Seeking legal guidance can help families understand their rights and options during such difficult times.
