The incident began around 2:00 PM in the Barstow area and concluded when the suspect vehicle, a white sedan, collided with two other vehicles in Victorville.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred when the suspect vehicle collided head-on with a CHP Ford Explorer patrol vehicle and struck a dark gray Honda Odyssey minivan. The impact caused significant damage and prompted an immediate emergency response.
A woman involved in the crash sustained a broken bone and other injuries. She was airlifted by Reach Air Medical #43 to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment. Additionally, a CHP officer and the male suspect were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
