Victorville, CA (November 19, 2024) – Authorities arrested Alfredo Parga, 49, following a DUI crash on Saturday night that left one person injured at the intersection of La Mesa Rd and Topaz Rd. The crash occurred at approximately 8:47 p.m., involving a 2005 Ford E350 and another vehicle.
According to the Victorville Police Department, Parga, who was driving the Ford, fled the scene on foot after the collision. Emergency responders transported the victim from the other vehicle to a local hospital. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been disclosed.
Officers located and arrested Parga, charging him under California Vehicle Code 23153(A) for driving under the influence causing injury. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto.
