Victorville, CA (September 30, 2024) – A tragic head-on collision occurred early Sunday morning, resulting in the death of an Adelanto man. The incident took place at approximately 12:11 a.m. at the intersection of Hesperia Road and Green Tree Boulevard.
According to the Victorville Police Department, preliminary investigations revealed that a blue Toyota Corolla was traveling west on Green Tree Boulevard when it entered the eastbound lanes of traffic. The vehicle then collided head-on with a white Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling in the eastbound lane.
The driver of the Toyota sustained severe injuries in the crash and was quickly transported to Desert Valley Hospital. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed, pending notification of family members.
At this time, no further information regarding the circumstances of the wreck has been made available, and the investigation is ongoing.
