Accidents Involving Commercial Vehicles in Texas
Texas frequently experiences accidents involving commercial vehicles such as buses and 18-wheelers, given its vast highway network and heavy traffic volume. Collisions involving large vehicles often result in severe injuries due to their size and weight.
In 2023, the Texas Department of Transportation reported over 38,000 crashes involving commercial vehicles statewide, many of which led to injuries or fatalities. Factors such as driver fatigue, mechanical failures, and road conditions often contribute to these incidents. Raising awareness about safe driving practices and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations are critical steps in preventing such accidents.
For those injured in crashes involving commercial vehicles, the recovery process can be particularly challenging, with medical expenses, insurance disputes, and emotional stress compounding the impact. Victims are encouraged to seek legal and medical guidance to navigate these difficulties and ensure accountability.
