Vernon County, MO (February 22, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred on US 54, two miles south of Walker, at approximately 8:00 p.m. Friday. Vehicle 1, driven by a 38-year-old male from Osceola, Missouri, failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by Vehicle 2, a 2025 Toyota Corolla traveling southbound.
The crash resulted in multiple fatalities. The 38-year-old male driver of Vehicle 1 and five occupants from both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene by the Vernon County Coroner. Among the victims were several adult females and juveniles, aged 16 to 21.
