Vanderburgh County, IN (January 11, 2025) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a rollover accident on Wortman Rd, just west of Old State Rd, earlier this afternoon. The crash was reported at approximately 4:16 p.m. and involved a single vehicle overturned on its roof in the middle of the roadway.
According to initial reports, occupants were still inside the vehicle, requiring extrication efforts by first responders. Units from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) and Vanderburgh County Fire Department (VCFD) arrived promptly to assist. The extent of the injuries and the number of individuals involved have not yet been disclosed.
Traffic on Wortman Rd was temporarily disrupted as emergency crews worked to extricate the occupant and secure the scene. Motorists were advised to avoid the area until the roadway was cleared and safe for travel.
