Vancouver, WA (November 24, 2024) – A serious semi-truck rollover crash occurred late Friday, November 22, near the off-ramp of I-5 at milepost 42. Multiple agencies responded to the scene at approximately 11:23 p.m. after receiving reports that the semi-truck had flipped onto its side, trapping the driver inside.
Emergency responders worked for over two hours using the jaws of life to free the 57-year-old male driver of the semi. He sustained a severe lower leg injury and was transported to a Vancouver hospital before being transferred to a trauma center for further treatment. His current condition has not been disclosed.
The driver of a passenger vehicle involved in the crash was also hospitalized with chest pain. Both drivers were attended to at the scene before being taken to medical facilities for care.
