Vancouver, WA (January 19, 2025) – Four people were hospitalized with serious injuries following a late-night crash on the Interstate Bridge Friday night. Emergency crews from the Vancouver Fire Department responded to the scene at approximately 11:52 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered two heavily damaged vehicles blocking two lanes of Interstate 5 southbound. Police and fire personnel closed all southbound lanes for around 45 minutes to extricate and treat the occupants of the vehicles.
Two fire engines, two ladder trucks, a battalion chief, and a squad unit were involved in the emergency response. The four injured individuals were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. Further details regarding the circumstances or the identities of those involved have not been released.
