Intersection Accidents in New Jersey
Intersection crashes, like the one at Buck Rd and Three Bridge Rd, are a significant cause of fatalities and injuries in New Jersey. Failing to yield at stop signs or traffic signals is a leading factor in these types of accidents. Rural intersections, in particular, pose risks due to limited visibility or high-speed cross traffic.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation emphasizes the importance of adhering to traffic control devices, slowing down at intersections, and remaining vigilant for other vehicles to prevent collisions. Educational campaigns and local enforcement efforts aim to reduce the frequency of such incidents.
