University Park, TX – Teen Critically Injured in Scooter-Vehicle Crash at Baltimore Ave & Turtle Creek

University Park, TX (September 4, 2024) – A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after colliding with a vehicle while riding an electric scooter on Sunday evening. The accident occurred at approximately 6:44 p.m. when the teenager was heading south on Baltimore Ave and attempted a left turn onto Turtle Creek. He crashed into an oncoming vehicle.

The driver immediately stopped and called for help. Emergency responders from University Park arrived within minutes, and the teen was transported to Parkland Hospital’s ICU, where he remains in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
