Tunica County, MS (November 21, 2024) – A tragic accident on Highway 4 in Tunica County claimed the life of 57-year-old Tell Raquel Landaverde of Lake Cormorant on Tuesday night. The crash occurred just before 8:10 PM, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Authorities reported that a 42-year-old man driving a 2007 Kia Sportage struck Landaverde, who was attempting to cross the highway. Landaverde was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not reported to have been injured.
