Tucson, AZ (January 15, 2025) – A tragic sequence of events on Tuesday evening left two people dead and another seriously injured in Tucson. The incidents began with a fatal crash near Benson Hwy and Ajo Way around 6:15 p.m., followed by a series of subsequent collisions.
The Tucson Police Department (TPD) reported that in the initial crash, a man was killed and another person sustained serious injuries. While officers were attending to the scene, a vehicle collided with a parked TPD vehicle around 8:45 p.m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in that incident.
Shortly thereafter, the suspect vehicle involved in the second collision crashed at Campbell Ave and Drexel Rd. When officers arrived at that scene, the driver of the vehicle was found deceased.
