Town of Fayette, WI (September 2, 2024) – Two individuals sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash on Sunday night, September 1. The accident occurred at 7:06 p.m. near Hwy F and Mt. Pleasant Rd. 

A 2004 Toyota Camry Solara veered off the road, hitting a guardrail and a bridge abutment over Otter Creek. Darlin Rene Moncada-Ortez, 20, and Maycol Martin Rodriguez, 17, were partially ejected and transported to UW Hospital after initial treatment. Speed, alcohol, and lack of seatbelt use are suspected factors. 

The Wisconsin State Patrol Crash Reconstruction Team is aiding the investigation.
