Town of Chase, WI (December 26, 2024) – A tragic single-vehicle accident on County Highway S near County Highway C claimed the life of a 29-year-old man and left a 4-year-old boy with injuries on Wednesday morning. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office reported being notified of the crash just before 10:50 a.m.
According to preliminary investigations, the SUV, driven by the Pulaski man, was traveling east on County Highway S when it left the roadway, went through a ditch, entered a field, and collided with a tree. The reason for the vehicle leaving the roadway is still under investigation.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The 4-year-old passenger, also from Pulaski, was transported to a hospital in Green Bay for treatment of minor injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
