Titusville, FL – Fatal DUI Accident Involving Bicyclist on Foley Rd

Titusville, FL (September 10, 2024) – A suspected DUI driver struck and killed a bicyclist Sunday night on Foley Rd near SR 405. Titusville Police reported that the accident occurred around 9 p.m. when Michael Wayne Gragg, 41, veered off the road in his 2017 Chevy Silverado, hitting 66-year-old bicyclist Gene Ryan Collins of Mims.

Gragg initially left the scene but returned shortly after. Police conducted sobriety tests, leading to his arrest for DUI manslaughter. No other injuries were reported in the incident.

Gragg is currently being held without bond in the Brevard County jail. Authorities are continuing their investigation and are expected to release further details as the case develops.
