Thomas County, KS (September 12, 2024) – A tragic two-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon left one person dead and six others injured on US 83. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Kimberly Munk, 49, was turning left into a private driveway when it collided with a southbound 2011 Dodge Charger.
EMS transported Sara Wilson, 33, and her passengers, Susan Englert, 68, Sharon Wilson, 62, and Levi Wilson, 2, to Citizen’s Medical Center, where Englert was pronounced dead. Munk and her two young passengers were taken to Logan County Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
