Tallahassee, FL (September 4, 2024) – A 37-year-old woman from Tallahassee was killed late Tuesday, September 3, in a pedestrian accident on Mahan Dr near Powderhorn Ave in Leon County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an eastbound vehicle struck the woman, who was in the roadway for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies and Leon County EMS in responding to the incident.
