Tacoma, WA (December 29, 2024) – A tragic pedestrian accident on South 72nd St at the intersection with G St claimed the life of a woman on Thursday evening. The crash occurred around 5 p.m. and involved a single vehicle.
According to the Tacoma Police Department (TPD), the pedestrian was crossing South 72nd St when she was struck by a vehicle. Despite emergency responders’ swift arrival, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released pending notification of her family.
