Swanton, VT (January 7, 2025) – Four people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning at the intersection of Bushey Hill Road and Woods Hill Road in Swanton.
According to Vermont State Police, the accident occurred just before 10:30 a.m. when a 66-year-old Fairfield man driving a pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign on Bushey Hill Road. His vehicle collided with a car driven by a 78-year-old Fairfield woman traveling west on Woods Hill Road. Each driver had one passenger in their vehicle.
The collision took place on partially snow-covered roads, contributing to hazardous driving conditions. Emergency responders transported all four individuals to Northwest Medical Center for treatment.
