Sutton, NH (January 26, 2025) – An empty Student Transportation of America (STA) school bus was involved in a motor vehicle accident on North Rd in Sutton. The incident occurred on Friday at approximately 1:00 p.m. and involved another vehicle.
The bus was en route to Kearsarge Regional High School in North Sutton to transport the Alpine Ski team to a scheduled meet. Fortunately, no students were on the bus during the crash. Both the bus driver and the driver of the other vehicle sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their current conditions remain unknown.
The accident caused the Alpine Ski team to withdraw from their meeting. The Kearsarge Regional School District, which contracts STA for student transportation, has shared updates regarding the incident and is working with local authorities as the investigation continues.
