Sugar Land, TX (September 2, 2024) – A devastating wrong-way crash early Monday, September 2 resulted in two deaths and one serious injury. The accident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on U.S. 90, near Gillingham Ln, just east of Eldridge Rd. Police confirmed that both drivers involved in the collision were killed.
According to authorities, a Honda Pilot was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of U.S. 90 when it collided head-on with a Toyota Highlander carrying two occupants. The force of the impact led to the deaths of both SUV drivers. The passenger in the Toyota Highlander survived but was critically injured.
