Storm Mountain, CO (November 25, 2024) – A tragic Civil Air Patrol plane crash claimed the lives of two individuals and left one injured on Saturday during a training mission in the mountainous region of Storm Mountain, approximately 80 miles north of Denver. The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident shortly after 11:00 AM.
Responding deputies located the downed aircraft and confirmed that all three crewmembers aboard had been found. Two were pronounced deceased at the scene, while the third was transported to a hospital with injuries.
