Stockton, MN (November 9, 2024) – A two-vehicle collision involving a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox occurred Friday afternoon on Highway 14 near Rolling Sunset Dr in Stockton, Winona County. The crash, reported at approximately 1:08 p.m., left one person injured.
Authorities stated that the Harley Davidson, driven by 37-year-old Luke Laroy Scott of Lewiston, MN, was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 when it collided with the westbound Chevrolet Equinox, operated by 89-year-old Raymond Eugene Lafky of Winona, MN.
Scott sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. The condition of his helmet use at the time of the crash is currently unknown. Lafky was uninjured in the collision. Both vehicles’ airbags were not deployed, and alcohol was not a factor.
Emergency personnel, including the Winona County Sheriff’s Department and Lewiston Ambulance, responded to the scene. The road was dry at the time of the incident. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the crash.
