Sterling Heights, MI (November 10, 2024) – A 75-year-old woman from Roseville tragically lost her life in a head-on collision on Utica Road near Forester Street shortly after 4pm on Saturday. Sterling Heights police reported that her light blue hatchback crossed the center line and struck an oncoming black SUV.
According to the investigation, the hatchback was traveling westbound on Utica Road when it veered into the eastbound lane, colliding with the SUV. The driver of the hatchback was the sole occupant and suffered fatal injuries.
Occupants of the SUV were treated for injuries on the scene by Sterling Heights Fire Department personnel and released. Investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs contributed to the crash.
