Stamford, CT (February 17, 2025) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Sunday morning, according to Stamford police.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. when a 2008 Lexus SUV traveling westbound on West Main Street hit a 57-year-old Stamford resident. The pedestrian was transported to Stamford Hospital, where they were admitted to the ICU with serious injuries.
Following the crash, the driver of the Lexus fled the scene. Investigators later identified the vehicle and located a potential suspect. Authorities obtained a search warrant for the SUV, and the suspected 43-year-old driver was interviewed.
