St. Louis, MO (January 19, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of Lewis and Clark Blvd and Comet Dr in St. Louis, leaving one driver injured. The accident was reported at approximately 12:45 a.m. and was investigated by TPR. C. A. Gates of Troop C.
The collision involved a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze and a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, both of which sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by A2B Towing. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of the Cruze, a 49-year-old male, failed to maintain a proper lookout and collided with the left side of the Equinox.
The male driver of the Cruze suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Christian Hospital EMS to Barnes-Jewish Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Equinox, a 39-year-old female, was uninjured in the crash. Neither driver was reported to have been using a safety device at the time of the incident.
