St. Louis, MO (January 9, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision occurred late Wednesday morning on I-70 Westbound at Missouri 141, leading to injuries and traffic delays in the area. The crash was reported at approximately 11:42 a.m. and involved a 2017 Honda Civic and a 2020 Acura RDX.
Emergency responders, including the Pattonville Ambulance District, were dispatched to the scene. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened when the 2017 Honda Civic, traveling in lane 4, moved into lane 5 and collided with the front left side of the 2020 Acura RDX. The driver of the Honda Civic, a 22-year-old male from St. Charles, MO, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment. The driver of the Acura RDX, a 73-year-old male from St. Louis, MO, was unharmed and able to drive his vehicle away from the scene. Both drivers were confirmed to be wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The Honda Civic suffered minor damage and was secured roadside, while the Acura RDX sustained minor damage but remained operational. The incident is under investigation by TPR. C.A. Gates (324), with assistance from TPR. B.C. Roberts (529). No additional injuries were reported.
