St. Louis, MO (January 5, 2025) – A devastating three-vehicle crash on Lewis and Clark Boulevard resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries on Saturday evening. The collision occurred at approximately 5:35 PM when a northbound vehicle traveling the wrong way in the southbound lanes caused a catastrophic chain reaction.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2006 Honda Accord driven by a 31-year-old male was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Lewis and Clark Boulevard. The wrong-way vehicle collided with a 2000 Toyota Avalon after the driver swerved to avoid the oncoming car. The Honda then struck a 2012 Ford F-150 head-on.
The driver of the Honda Accord sustained fatal injuries and was transported to Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 6:34 PM by Dr. M. Matlock. The drivers of the other vehicles, a 51-year-old male operating the Toyota Avalon and a 44-year-old male driving the Ford F-150, suffered moderate and minor injuries, respectively. Both were taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital by Christian Ambulance for treatment.
